Fr Henry Graystone SM Last month celebrated his 80th birthday in Hull. It was a great family occasion at which both Fr Phil and Fr Geoff were present for the concelebrated mass. Being numerically literate, Henry was able to state the total number of years they have been professed, ordained and on this earth. All the figures were truly remarkable. Congratulations and many thanks. Ad Multos annos.

FORMATION for the Marist Way

Despite a series of problems, including the arctic weather, ill health and bereavements 25 people eventually assembled at 3.30pm in Walsingham on Wednesday 3rd December for the "teach-in" on the Marist Way – what it is and how we can, or should, conduct meetings. People were present from Middesbrough, Hull, Grimethorpe, Goldthorpe, Sidcup, Sunninghill, White City, Hythe, Kings Lynn and, of course, Walsingham. All presentations were given by members of the Council for the Marist Way, who had also prepared the programme and all the liturgies, which were excellent. People were mopre than satisfied with the catering and, especially, the festive meal on Thursday evening. According to a wide selection of travel arrangements most people left for stayed an extra night. One thing is certain all left refreshed, renewed and confident of being able to play a more positive role in the future of the Marist Way

May we welcome Christ as they did.

May Christ be with you in this Holy Season and the New Year
